Taste Notes

So, it turned out pretty good. Appearance was pretty much bang on. Superficial side by side tasting was also very promising. I’m not a statistician and I’m not gonna get all ‘brulosophy’ up in here, but for evaluation, 9 people did a total of 11 blind triangle tests, there were 7 correct tests and 4 incorrect. I did two of the tests, and was correct on both occasions, but it was not an obvious distinction. There were some subtle aroma differences and a drier finish in the home brewed version. Overall, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I’m not sure how I would change any future attempts. I could maybe reduce the dextrose addition for cloning purposes, but TBH, I quite like a dry IPA so for my tastes, I’d prolly leave it where it is.
