Taste Notes
Pretty close to Odell's Myrcenary but with an added body and some extra spice/earth notes. I'm suspecting its coming from the Chinook I used at 20 minutes. I like it. The spiciness lingers a bit. On the down side, the tropical aroma of this beer is a bit shy of Myrcenary. Notes
In retrospect, I wouldve added a little Amarillo in the flavoring stage, a little more Centennial and Simcoe at 5 or 10 minutes and a half oz to an oz more dry hop combined of Amarillo/Simcoe/centennial. That should get it closer to what I was trying to acheive... However, I really like the spiciness which I think would be covered up by more tropical/flowery hops... so I'm not disappointed. At all.
If you like Odell's Myrcenary, there's a good chance you'd like this brew as it is.... and maybe more with the couple additions i noted. This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
