You're not the "Voss" of me now November 13th 2018 Brewed by Zach MASH: - Mashed in at 147 degrees with 5.5 gallons of water - Treated with 1 teaspoon of gypsum and calcium chloride - Let sit for about 70 minutes rather than 60 due to the low mash temp - Yielded about 4.75 gallons - Sparged with 6 gallons of water at 153 degrees - Yielded about 4 gallons from that - left about 1.5 gallons in the mash tun since i over sparged a bit BOIL: - Started with about 8.5-8.75 gallons - Boiled for 90 minutes due to the 8lbs of pilsen malt - Bittered with 3.5ml of hop shot @90min - Hop stand for 15 minutes at 165 degrees with 2oz of Nelson hops POST BOIL/RACKING: - finished with about 6.5 gallons - Starting Grav was 1.058 - Racked about 5.25-5.4 gallons into fermenter - Plan on fermenting at 90 degrees with Loki
