Notes
2/3/19 - Mashed in with 6 gallons 160f water. Mash temp came to 147f, recirculated for entire mash. Mash PH of 5.5 taken after 20 minutes. Mashed for 60 minutes, then heated to 168f for mash out. Sparged with 3 gallons 170F pre-acidified water. 7.25 gallons preboil volume, 1.053 gravity. Post boil OG of 1.086. Cooled to 64f and transferred to fermenter. Left fermenter in basement for 4 hours, temperature fell to 61f. Oxygenated at 1.5LpM for 1.5 minutes and pitched 600ML slurry from BCB. Set fermwrap to 65F.
2/13/19 - Krausen has fallen, gravity at 1.010, PH 4.65. VDK test came back positive, will rest on yeast a couple more days.
2/17/19 - VDK test negative. Transferred to fully purged 5 gallon pin lock with dip tube cut. Added first dry hops in bag with marbles added. Bubbled co2 through bottom of dip tube once per day.
2/22/19 - Removed first dry hops. Added second dry hops in bag with marbles, cryo pellets & hop hash was added free into the keg. Purged headspace multiple times and flipped keg to get cryo/hash into solution.
2/25/19 - Put outside in ambient 30-40f weather.
2/27/19 - Filtered through 2 micron clarifier into serving keg.This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
