Brew Day Sept 8, 2013 Pot 60 litre Tap water stood overnight to decrease chlorine Strike water 72C First runnings gravity 14.6 Brix 1.058 35 l of 11.3 Brix, 1.044 into kettle OG 14.1 Brix, 1.056, into plastic 5 gal carboy, orange hood for blowoff tube Rehydrated yeast in water which was possibly too hot 15 day fermentation at 68F, Last 24h at 70F Bottled on Sept 23, 2013 Final gravity:1.009 Primed with: 129g cane sugar Bottled 9 x 650 ml bottles and the rest were 500ml Tasted malty and hoppy, not too bitter. Very promising!
