Notes

26 quarts = 6.5 gallons @ 165.4 2 gallons boiling after 1 hr steep, stir and let set 10 mins 4/12/19 OG 1.073. Estimated ABV 8.2%. Low OG. To increase, drain wort before adding more water, then add necessary water to bring to 185 to get remaining sugars. To get 1.073 did all in one go. Did not use rice hulls. 3/16/24 Brewed following above, but with rice hulls. Separated the 2nd sparge, did 1st runnings, then added 2.5 gallons at about 200. Appears to be 1.084 OG, but hard to tell with the oranges added.
