My personal favorite
by peterso8I Love This Beer!!!!
Lagunitas Lil Sumpin Sumpin is what got me to start brewing beer.
The Homebrew version is excellent.
The aromas you get from the dry hop are beautiful.
The flavor is excellent.
Roasted 1/2# of wheat in the oven at 350F for 5 min.
Grains burned at 7 min.
This gives it a nice touch of color and flavor.
Besides, it is fun to say you roasted your own grains.
I have tried this with WLP002 and WLP007.
I have tried this with Briess 2-Row and Golden Promise.
WLP002 works well with the Golden Promise.
It was either the mash temp or the malt that dried out the beer too much with GP.
WLP007 works well with the Briess 2-row.
Will brew this again and again just to make sure.
