This was the first recipe I did on my hopcat. Everything went smoothly apart from the transfer to the fermenter where the leaf hops blocked the filter and I could not get the last 3-odd litres out. Colour looks good and OG was 1050. I mashed at 67-68 so hope for it to end out at 1012-1014. If is stops at 1014 then it will be a 4.8% instead of a 4.2%. That is really good efficiency especially as I would have hit my volumes if I had not lost the last few litres. I will use the hop spider next time to help with filtration.This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
