Notes

***Whirlpool hops @ 165F/30 mins Target BU/GU ratio = .714 Meijer RO H2O pH = 6.11...BrunWater called for .4 ml acid...dropped this to 0.3 ml Mash pH @ 10 mins = 5.38 (target = 5.36) Strike temp =165 Initial mash temp @ 10 mins = 156.5nd removed lid until 154.5 (@ 18 mins into mash)...153 @52 mins...152.5 @ 75 mins Added approx 1/2 cup lt. DME leftover from yeast starter to boil. Pitched yeast at 72F...too basement at 68F for 12 hrs...in fridge at 65F for 2 wks. Dryhop for additional 7 days then bottle bottled 9/24...5.6 gals...5.6 oz dextrose...2.58 volumes CO2 (used 68F as ferment temp) Tried at 3 wks...good aroma...hop flavor clean..medium body w/ slight honey malt sweetness. Overall really good...nex time if brewing use melanoidin malt (8 oz.?) and use either less honey malt or none at all. Put in fridge to cold condition
