Brew day 1/5
Sanitized cold side equipment, added 5.25 gal juice and yeast nutrient to fermenter. Rehydrated yeast according to directions, cooled with remaining juice to 78 (temp of liquid in fermenter was 72, should refrigerate remaining juice next time) and pitched. Blow off tube placed.
11am pitched
Fermenting temp set to 69
Blow off activity 8am 1/6
1/14 - gravity reading 1.006, upped temp to 74 and shook fermenter
1/19 - gravity reading 1.012? Will add secondary additions today to cold crash tomorrow.
1/20 - added secondary additions at 8am. Will cold crash tomorrow morning.
1/21 - AM dropped to 60
PM dropped to 47
1/22 - AM dropped to 35
1/23 - kegged and set carb lid to 14psi. Tried gassing off but a lot of liquid is blowing out. Will try to do more as time goes onThis Recipe Has Not Been Rated
