1/6 started HLT 8:15
missed mash temp - 146 and added 2 quarts of boiling water and rose to about 147-148
accidentally added calcium carbonate instead of caldium chloride - added calcium chloride.
12:00ish - started yeast starters
better bottle was the first filled
done about 1:50
cleaned up at 2:20
1/6 Pitched yeast at 10:00 - pitched active starter in Better Bottle (leve-high) and non-active in Midwest (level-low) which had more head room. aerated again in both until foam rose.
1/7 no activiaty at 8am
1/7 check at 1:45 and lots of kraussen
1/9 added 2oz of medusa to each fermenter at 4:45. Fermentation had slowed
