Taste Notes

7/9/2015 - after draining several glasses from keg still cloudy with a yeast haze, sweet, no aroma, carmel malt. Needs more dry hopping.

Notes

6/21/2015 4.75 gallons to fermenter, pitched 1 quart San Diego Super yeast harvested from Enjoy By clone. Started slowly over 24 hours and stalled by 6/27/15. 6/27/2015 - SG 1.025 or so. Little activity present. Very hoppy and bitter. Raised temp to 70F and rocked ferementer. 6/29/2015 - SG 1.025 with hydrometer. 1.035 with refractometer that converts to 1.011 SG based on spreadsheet. Dry hopped with 1.3 oz of Simcoe adn 1 oz Amarillo pellets in a stainless steel dry hopper. 7/3/2015 - Kegged 4.5 gallons 1.020 hydrometer. 7/9/2015 - Tasted carbonated beer and it is cloudy, dark, sweet, lacks aroma. 7/10/2015 - Topped up with .75 gallon of boiled distilled water to lower FG and increase volume. Dry hopped with .5 oz Simcoe and .5 oz of Citra in keg. Drained turb/yeast from bottom of keg.
