Taste Notes
First sample from fermenter was very roasty, a great Autumn Beer. I can't wait to see how it tastes after it's carbed! - First pint from the keg was crystal clear, tastes a bit like cherries! No roasty notes left, but a nice easy drinking brown! ExcelNotes
8.5gal preboil @ 1.040
6.5gal postboil @ 1.050
Chilling outside in a waterbath since hose was frozen and I didn't get the sump pump connections in time.
Chill to 62F, ferment at 64F for 4 days then ramp temps up 2F every day until I hit 76F. (10 day span) Hold 76 for 4-6 days then crash cool for 4 days and rack to kegs. This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
