Notes

Yeast is Coopers yeast propagated from their pale ale 3kg of sweet potato, cooked in the oven, added to mash. It was absolute hell to mash. 2kg of pears added to the fermenter after a week, beer kegged a week after that. Pears stewed and blended. Beer is the first in a series of beers I'm making dedicated to those involved with the recent leadership spill in the ruling Liberal party. It's basically another excuse for me to squeeze terrible puns into my brews.
