Notes

Adapted from John Kent's Award Winning PickAx Porter ++++++++++++++++ Divided batch in 1/2 at the end. - John Pitched with xxxx - I pitched with US-05 dry yeast. -- After primary fermentation, I transported 900 miles to St Louis. -- Conducted secondary fermentation in basement at about 62 degrees -- Due to school work, it wasn't until 1 Feb 14 before I could keg it. -- Tasted a little more bitter than expected out of the fermenter, but overall not too bad...the sweetness I detected out of the primary was gone indicating to me that finished just fine.
