5/25/15-On completion of secondary...very oakey...maybe reduce Oak chips by 1/2. - Also very bourboney...maybe go with 4 oz of bourbon next time.

Notes

"125" is the grade the best wood Hillerich & Bradsby uses for Louisville Slugger bats. All Major League bats use 125 grade wood. ++++++++++++++++++ Used Hershey Dk/Reg Cacao. Toasted Pecans at 350 degrees/Broil for 15-20 min. Stuck Mash!!!! Ugh! Initial Gravity with Candi 1.070...added 1.8 lbs of DME to get it up to 1.080. Ended up tossing about 1/2 to 3/4 gallon after filling carboy to 5.5 gallon level... Soak Oak Chips in Kentucky Bourbon (8 oz) overnight. Primary Fermentation: 4 Weeks Secondary Fermentation: 8 Weeks Bottle Condition: 4 Weeks +++++++++++++
