Notes
Brewed at North Shore Brewers Beer Camp. First brew day with brand new 10 gallon mash tun. Round igloo cooler with false bottom. Bought on brew day.
Hit mash temp on the money. Probably didn't add enough water to the mash. Temp fell from 152 to mid 140s by end. Added Lactic Acid to lower pH. Pre boil gravity was only 1.027. Pre boil volume looked high. Used a 90 min boil to boil down.
Nice rolling boil with Dark Star burner. Used that for the first time too. Hit with a min of pure O2. Pitched yeast at 90F.
Racked after approx 3 weeks. Packaged on 7/17. Kegged 3 gal, 1 gal polypin, 0.5 gal dumped. FG 1.006. Beer finished dry and slightly hot This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
