Taste Notes
Nice darker Amber Colour, slightly darker than expected. Malty Aroma, slight floral, hints of resiny hops coming through. Has dryer finish (not as sweet as expected) slight grainy, toasty, hints of biscuit flavour. Med-high bitterness.
Off white head that is lasting.Notes
If made again I would reduce the bitterness, and add some sweetness with toffee malt.
A mate from england wanted the origianl pompey royal, so did some reasearch and made up this beer, which he thought was pretty close. Make with little carbonation.
