Notes

Start heating water, wand mill grain. 10:49 - 6 gallons of water at 164F. Add grain to tun. Tun temp at 156. Perfect. Cover and set time for 30 minutes. 11:19 - Start heating 5 gallons of sparge water to 168F. Set timer for 30 minutes. 11:55 - Sparge started with 168F water. 12:30 - Finish sparge. Specific gravity is 1.026 at 174F.Corrected for temp is 1.053. 9 gallons in two pots. 12:45 - Reached boil. Added 1 oz of Warrior. Set timer for 45 minutes. 1:11 - Added 1 oz of Cascade and whirl floc tablet. Set timer for 10 minutes. 1:21 - Added 2 oz of Cascade. Set timer for 5 minutes 1:26 - Added 3 oz of cascade leaf at flame out. Steep for 15 minutes. 1:45 - Started Cool down. 2:30 - 7 gallons with OG measured at 1.054. Aerated and added hydrated yeast. In chest freezer at 67F. 05-05-2013 - Siphoned into secondary. FG is 1.016. No hop aroma or flavor so I added 2 oz of cascade leaf and 2 oz of Simcoe leaf. 05-12-2013 - FG is still 1.016. Kegged 5 gallons
