Notes
I mashed at 158 for an hour. I batch sparged at 165 for 15 minutes. I soaked 1 oz oak chips in 8 oz bourbon for 7 days then added to the fermenter. Upon bottling I tasted a sample and it didn't have quite as much bourbon character as I wanted so I added another 5 oz. The finished product was even better than I had hoped for. Very minor but detectable oak flavor and subtle but noticable bourbon flavor. This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
