Taste Notes

Brewing on 4-24-16. Almost exactly 2 years away from the first batch on 4-26-14 :-)

Notes

4-24-16 Mashed in @ 153F. 75 minute mash. Sparge water took forever to hit temp. Final runnings 1.014. Added Carafa to mash just before vorlof. Color cameout nice. 75 minute sparge. Preboil gravity 1.044. 90 minute boil. OG 1.052. Water calcs came out good. Pitched yeast @ 54 F.Put in fermentation chamber @52F. Still has the nice color. Should be a good one!!!~ 5-15-16. Started dropping temp to get to lagering temp. 5-16-16. Dropped another 5 degrees. Kegging on Sunday 7-10-16 7-10-16 FG 1.014. Hydro samples were pretty good. Mexican is better. 8-25-16. This one is pretty good. Everybody likes it. Even the wife!
