Taste Notes

Notes

Hydrated yeast with 4 oz 77degree water. 2 packs. Only got 12 gallons preboil volume. Add rice hulls next time. Mash almost got stuck. Very slow. Hard time pumping from MLT to Kettle. 1st dose of Dry Hops (3 oz Citra) added to primary fermentor on 5/17/17. Initial fermentation was VERY active. Had to remove air lock and replace with blowoff tube. Krausen has fallen but still actively fermenting as of 5/17/17. 5/13/17 brewed 5/17/17 1st dry hop (four days into fermentaion so yeast can work on hops). 5/30/17 transfered to secondary and dry hopped with 3oz Citra. 6/5/17-kegged 5gal and put on gas - set & forget 12 lbs (12 lbs because I bumped gas up for Oberone to be done in time for 6/7/17 BASH meeting)
