Taste Notes

This is an odd beer. Malt is very bready, which is something I didn't expect to get from the overall flavour. Hops dominate a little too much (due to the lower final volume), with the Montueka bringing an odd fruitiness which would cause me to perhaps go for something European rather than a hop from New Zealand. It was in the fridge so I decided to use it here (I had it for putting in my randall, but I found out I don't like Montueka in my randall), my bad. With that said, it's not bad. I might make it again, with the same malt bill but change the hops- perhaps just having a 60 minute addition and no flavour addition to showcase the malt a little more.

Notes

For those who don't know, recipes with a number in front of it reflect a brewday while those without are base recipe storage. Those receipes I have used at some point, though the software I used was Promash and while I copied the important information across, I'm not going to copy all the mash details because that would take too long and I am lazy. Since this was the first batch I have made with this recipe, I was under volume- still dialling in my system.
