Taste Notes
Going into Secondary, the S-33 had a stronger oder than the US-05. The taste was better balanced on the US-05.
At 40 days in the bottles the smell was gone, and the taste was good.
Notes
We split the batch between two carboys.
One with 5 Gal. of wort received 2 pkgs of US-05 (active fermintation for 6 days, with small blow-off tube) FG 1.012 after Secondary.
One with 4.5 Gal. of wort received 2 pkgs of S-33 (active fermintation for 4 days, with large blow-off tube) FG 1.020 after Secondary. This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
