Taste Notes

Good beer. Nice hop aroma and flavor. Will likely make this a "house beer," with a few modifications. Mash at higher temperature, for thicker body. Add a small amount of crystal/caramel malt, to make a nicer color (currently a pale straw color).

Notes

Added extra oz. of Citra, at flameout, on top of what came with the kit. It was in the freezer, on the verge of going bad. OG: 1.057; OB: 14.00 Pitched at 68°. Fermented in basement at 65° for two days before moving to upstairs ambient temperature. Added first round of dry hops. Already at 1.011!? After 4 days: SG 1.011 After 6 days: SG: 1.009; SB: 2.38 - 6.4% ABV After 7 days: SG: 1.009; SB: 2.38 - 6.4% ABV (No change)
