Notes

Temps were better today. I heated an extra 5 degrees and only added .75 gal of water. Actually 5 quarts because the mash profile called for 31 qts and I heated 32 qt. Hit 150 at mash in. 4.5 gal of boiling water took it to 168-169. I am always amazed at how either my thermometer is off or there is serious temperature pocketing in the mash.
