Notes

Mash in: 7:30am Into the Fermentor: 12:30pm Mash: No issue in mash hit all temperatures first time using GF Connect controller …….. Mash Out/Sparge: I started my GF Mash Water heater when I began the mash and I think thermostat has a somewhat high variance before it reheats the water ± 5 accordong to the GF website. Boil: Tried to move the session from my Ipad to Ipohne and caused an issue right at the start of boil, lost my boil for a few minutes, you can restart your session and move to a spefic stage⑉ At the end of boil only had 5 gallons to move to fermentor, was wanting 6-6.5 gallons, but SG was exact to estimated (1.067) Pitch/Fermintation: First time using dry yeast did a double pitch and just pitched on top of wort. Starting Temp 74° at 12:30 pm Had signs of after 48hrs, has never really went into a very active ferminaton 3 days in took reading from port at the bottom of fermintor and  ⇓SG 1.025 and sample was 76°⑉ Other: Found an equipment adjustment online for Beersmith ⇋ Grainfather did not seem to change my numbers. Not sure if this will have any affect on my final numbers. Will have to set up a new recipe and see if the numbers match between grainfather and beer Smith II Had to repitch with 2 packages of WLP001⑉
