Notes

HI Stan, Recipe, you want our secret recipe …… This is what we give out to folks – I bet you can get close (if you use a good high quality British yeast) Heelch O Hops: Imperial IPA (9.0% ABV) Polished brass with copper tints and a wavy, dense tan head. Aromas of pink grapefruit, fresh huckleberry pie, redwood needles, caramel, and woodruff greet the nose. The expected bitterness is delivered on the palate, as are rich flavors of candied grapefruit peel, fresh pine, blueberries, black pepper, and biscuits, all balanced beautifully with malty richness and nice herbal finish. Malts: Pale 2 row malt, Crystal malt (40L ) Hops: Chinook Columbus, Cascade, Cascade, Cascade IBUs : 90 OG: 20 Plato, FG: 3.2 Plato, AVB: 9.0% Cheers – Fal Allen Anderson Valley Brewing Co.
