Taste Notes

3/30 Upon bottling, can smell and taste the Coconut.

Notes

First brew using 2 gallon mashtun. Mashed in at 164° to get a rest of 154°. Dropped to 153° after 40 minutes Boiled for 75 minutes but has to add a quart of water to bring up to 1 1/2 gallons and OG of 1.060. Racked to secondary and added about 6 ox coconut toasted in a frying pan. Used a sieve to filter out small chunks of coconut.
