Taste Notes
Pepper is not overpowering at all.Notes
- Overall, I am happy with the grain bill and hops. We had to tweak a few items, but overall it is what I was targeting. The acids in the hops purchased were a bit higher than what I expected so I have altered my boil schedule a bit.
- Intentionally leaving our the Whirfloc so that the beer has a slight haze that is typical to this rustic, farmhouse style ale.
- Mash Out and Sparging took longer than expected but there was great conversion in the mash.
