Notes

From Granville island: ALC./VOL.: 5.5% IBU: 22 GRAVITY: 12.9 Dan's Homebrewing Supply in Vancouver had a recipe.... I tired it and it came out VERY close to the real thing... The color was a lot darker then the real thing, and very tasty.. 10lbs 2 row 1.5 lbs. crystal 60 .5 lbs. carapils .5 lbs. chocolate .5 oz. Willamette whole (60 mins) 1 oz. Cascade (60 mins) .5 oz. Sterling whole (Finishing) Additional Ingredients: 2 whole vanilla beans (cutup and shredded) 1.5 lbs. 'Rogers Golden Syrup' 8 oz. Molasses and used a dry us-05 ale yeast... Everything was in the boil except the vanilla beans.... they sat in the secondary for 9 days.. The guide said the ingredient that gives it the vanilla flavor is white chocolate (which is really just a butter), not actually vanilla bean
