Notes
Aim for OG of 1.045, FG 1.011IBU 16For extract, sub 1.75 lbs wheat DME, 3.3 lbs wheat LME, 1 lb wheat malt (steep)Mash grains at 149 for 45 minutes. Collect 5 gallons of wort. Boil for 90 minutes. Ferment at 68.In my original batch, I used Crystal instead of Tettnanger hops and it tasted great. For yeast, it asks you to make a 2 liter starter. I think 1 liter would be enough next time. However, give the starter 2 days to really get going. On second batch, I was able to get 5 3/4 gallons wort before gravity dropped to .004. I bumped up the cascade hops at 60 min by about 15% so we'll see how this has an effect on the finished product. Efficiency was only 60% because I did a batch sparge and my ph was a bit low.
