Taste Notes
Out of primary there is definately a corona taste, however tastes astringenty puckering your mouth a bit... my ph during mash was at 5.6, and i mashed a little too long. Still had a hint of dogfarts from the yeast, but read this can mellow out. -Out of secondary and into the bottling bucket this beer tastes very good, almost exactly like stella artois... but less bitter, will add a bit of bittering hops to the next run. but this is very good beer!Notes
-Will try to re-create this with an all grain bill, the flaked corn is hard to locate in my neck of the woods, so will have to try fresh corn and rice mash... i suppose it wouldnt do the flavor any harm.Ratings

Help me understand......
by kostenbbStella is a pilsner malt only based beer. No 2-row and definitely no Corn adjuncts. Your recipe appears to be a Blonde Ale or Cream ale style.
re: Help me understand......
by dfowler85Please rate me on the flavor of the beer and not your beer snobishry lol im a novice brewer and i thought it tasted similar is all i wasnt shooting for a clone or perhaps my pallet is less sophisticated. Its still a tasty recipe, in fact its one of the only brews i had that was any good lol.
