7/14 Brewday 4:00 am, attempting a qaudruple brew day, dough in 161.2 (+1.2) hit 147.2 (-.8) lid closed 4:53. The salts got clumpy in the strike water, tried to get them in the tun best i could, i am realzing it now that it is bec of the pickling lime. pH at 10 min. 5.38 Boil begins 6:35, OG 1.078!!!! FAIL, way way way to dilute. left a lot of beer behind, with my sugaz. 30g us-05 not rehydrated 8/9 transferred to secondar in 25L liter demijohn, sg 1.021.
