Ingredients
Amount Name Type #
5.00 gal Denver, Colorado Water 1
1 lbs Caramel/Crystal Malt - 10L (10.0 SRM) Grain 2
6 lbs Wheat Liquid Extract (8.0 SRM) Extract 3
1.00 oz Cascade [5.5%] - Boil 60 min Hops 4
1.00 cup Honey, Schmidt Farms (Boil 2 min) Misc 5
1.0 pkgs Hefeweizen Ale (White Labs #WLP300) Yeast 6
4.00 oz Raspberry Extract (Bottling 5 min) Misc 7

Taste Notes

Way too much raspberry aroma. Flavor was a bit less, but seemed too much. Suspect that honey brought out the aroma.

Notes

Add 1 cup honey with 2.5 minutes left in boil. Cooled to 85 degrees before transfering to primary fermenter. Add raspberry extract to bottom of keg prior to transfer.
