Taste Notes

Mash at 152F. This is a very robust recipe producing a highly complex beer but also an easy drinking one. Schwarzbier is strictly a lager.

Notes

Cold steep dark grains for 24 hours, strain, then add at last 5 minutes boil (1.9 quart cold water at room temperature, to steep 15.1 oz grain). 1 Quart of steeped liquid added.
