Notes
Used 20 ml of HopShot (4 shots)
Pitched 2 slap packs of Wyeast 1272 (American Ale II) at 78 degrees.
Activity by 24 hours later.
Pitched one pack of White Labs 90 (SD Super) four days later. First dry hop charge added.
Activity stopped 24 hours later.
Measured FG five days after pitching SD Super at 1.015. Racked to keg to carb with second dry hop charge.
Juicy/Tropical IPA perfected!
by SMcLoughlinFantastic fruity aroma nevertheless undersells the taste. Juicy/fruity and frothy/hoppy in the best possible way. Light body, just enough. Clean lingering bitter, dry/mineral finish. So easy to drink at 7%. Wyeast 1272 really brought the fruit juice to the party, and pitching White Labs SD Super on top of it after 72 hrs got the FG down to target. Like a lighter bodied, fresher Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA. This if fucking brilliant beer. #buenavistataproom
