3.5 gallon boil
2.25 quart partial mash
4 gallon boil after partial mash addition
Lose about 1 gallon
Top up to 5 gallons for fermentation.
Added 1oz Amarillo to partial mash with 7 min left in steep, rinsed mash bag in 170 degree boil water
Added 60 min hops and mash juice at 60 min
Added 60 min dry extract (3lbs)
Added 30 min hops at 30 min
Started boiling 2 gal top off water at 30 min
Added 3 lbs malt at 30 minutes left in boil
Added 1 lbs corn sugar at 15 min left in boil
Whirlpool flame out 1oz Amarillo, 1/2 oz Citra, & 1/2 oz Galaxy.
5.25 gallon after topping up.
1.063 OG. Not as high as I wanted should have only topped to 5 instead of 5.25
Temp dropped 2/4 degrees on day 3.
Original fermentation temp was 78. It has since dropped to 74.
Gravity reading ATM is 1.010 after 4 days.This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
