My gravity, OG = 1.070, was on target for the volume increase to the original grain bill and the tweak up of the sugar addition.
split the batch between 2 fermenters and pitched WLP090 (from vial, no starter) in one and WYEAST 1728 Scottish Ale (3l starter). The 1728 fermenter was pitched just on the tail end of high krausen and within an hour it was active.This Recipe Has Not Been Rated
