Hey, as far as aging I would age this for at least 3-6 months before considering it complete. You can taste it along the way to see how it is going. I know it took mine almost 9 months before it was how I wanted it.
As far as sugar to add, just do your priming sugar as you would, You might need to add more yeast if you feel that the yeast are stressed from all the work of a big beer.
