If you prefer liquid yeast, you can substitute Wyeast 1099 Whitbread.

Notes

Carared substituted for Caraamber 3.5 gallons water. steep 60 min. heat 2 gals to 168 while steeping. drain into 2 gals. heat to 168. batch sparge. add water to get to 6.5 gals. 1.057 into fermenter Very active fermentation after about a day.
