Taste Notes

Mike Murphy from Lervig Aktiebryggeri and Gourmet Bryggeriet described it as a beer from Stone or Port Brewing. Big hop punch and enough alcohol to back it up nicely. A must try.

Notes

Henrik Imperial Amber is a heavily dry-hopped ale somewhere between an American Amber Ale and a Double IPA. Bucket loads of American hops were used to balance the malts in this powerful beer. Just a great ale, plain and simple

Really sessionable! For being a brute with 8% ABV it masks itself as lighter beer. Could easily have several pint of this in one sitting. Just an awesome ale!

A killer brew

Big beer with heaps of flavor. Resin, pine and apricot balanced with a malty back bone

Hoppy Goodness

Great beer. We added an extra 1lb. of carapils. We couldn't quite get the full boil and ended up with just about 5.1 gal. Also substituted Amarillo with Cascade do to price and shortage.
