Lemon notes are the hallmark of this beer. Add some lemon essence if necessary to complete the beer.

Notes

The modern version of this beer put out seasonally by Shepherd Neame is only 3.5% ABV, but probably has a higher FG than most of Fremlin's beers from back in the day. The 1965 version made by Fremlin's had an OG of 1.043 but was otherwise a very similar recipe.
