2.00 oz Boadicea [8.5%] - Dry Hop 5 days Hops 16

Taste Notes

This came out too dry and too hoppy. Consider reducing rye to 1 lb, increasing mash temp, and reducing hops to 35 or 30 IBUs.

Notes

After using Boadicea hops on the spare 2nd half of this batch, discovered that it tasted much better with English dry hop than with the Liberty hops of the original recipe. Use UK dry hop from now on. Four bay leaves in the boil for 10 minutes was perfect. This beer goes very nicely with crabs and spicy foods.
