Notes

Used bottled water and added 2 teaspoons of Gypsum. Hops were added as "continuous" as per DogfishHead brewery. Half Warrior at 60 min then rest at 5 minute intervals until 35 minute mark, then same method used with combined Simcoe & Amarillo. 10 minute rest at end of boil then Whirlpool and further 10 minutes rest. No chill cube used. Mash water temp 73 - after grains added 67 Mash volume 33 l - after grains added 39.5l 15 min PH reading 6.1 Pre boil volume 27.5 - Sparge with 2l 75c water = 30l preboil volume preboil SG 1.052 post boil SG 1.065 squeezed hop bag volume in Urn 25 l Boil off rate 4 litres/hour volume to fermenter 21 l pitched 1 and a half packs US05 at 21c Ferment temp set to 18c Grav check at day 5 - 1.017 Dry hopped day 12 Cold Crash started day 15 Bottled day 18 (Wed 3 Feb) Estimated IBU's 55 but slightly more due to no chill so at least 60 I think. Final bottled ABV 6.9%
