Notes

Inspired by recipe on Beer & Brewing: https://beerandbrewing.com/recipe-maine-peeper-pale-ale/. However, the addition of Chinook into the fermenter one day after pitching yeast (high Krausen) was inspired by the Yakima Valley Hops web page indicating that this hop has high Geraniol content, which is biotransformed by yeast into Citronellol, a highly-sought-after aroma compound in IPAs. To prevent grassy character, the hops were enclosed in a mesh bag so that they could be recovered after three days of primary fermentation.
