Brew Notes: super low mash efficiency, circulated throughout 2 hr mash maybe thats why, going to be very light beer, couldnt get bubbles to flow so turned up heat, swapped grommet and added wrench which got bubble activity, need to hit 1.007 to hit 4% Preboil Gravity: OG: Mash Efficiency: Brewhouse Efficiency: Day 1 - Sat June 5: Pitch Escarpment Krispy Gen 2 Kveik at 3pm OG 1.036, set temp at 16c in kegerator fridge Day 2 - Sun June 6: Still No bubble activity, turned up heat to 30c, still no bubbling. Changed lid clamp and blow off tube and put wrench in. Sealed after that. Day 3 - Hit close to FG but wanted to try and get as much abv and get it as dry as possible so left at 30c for another couple days Day 5/8 - Slowly bring temp down to 1c. at first unplugged heat belt, then opened door, then started to adjust inkbird in small increments Day 9 - Mon June 14: 8am Gravity 1.008, Closed Transfer to keg, burst carb at 40-50psi for 8 hours. Then added 4g heated gelatin and 8 oz water to keg then burped the keg. Ran on in-line carb system @ 12psi for an hour. Day 10 - Tues June 19: Carbed and drinkable!!
