Notes

Inspired by https://beerandbrewing.com/make-your-best-english-porter/ Grain Bill: Base- mix of american and pilsner- whatever I had on hand Lots of brown malt for color and flavor Added chocolate for dark color and flavor, chocolate rye for a little complexity Oats for body Water This was made during COVID-19 so charcoal filtered water from the fridge Hops Simple- fuggle- earthy english hop, just enough for bittering at beginning of the boil. Mash- BIAB hit all of the numbers since I lowballed BH efficiency Ferment SG 1.054 10.5-11G into carboys. 65F setpoint
