Notes

Add the honey and flavoring hops 15 minutes before the end of the 90 minute boil Add spices 5 minutes before the end of the 90 minute boil **Brew Day** Used 8 1/4 Gallon of water to attempt to dial in new system instead of the called 8 1/2 G Seems like to much water, there is only about 1 1/2 to 2 inch remaining at the top (mabye go with 7.7 g instead of the calculated water volume) added grain and stirred like crazy, strike temp showed 160 but it was staying at 159 after adding grains, so I added ice and finally got it down to 155. Didn't squeeze the bag that much but I did swish Preboil wort was about 7.6 gallons probably next time let it sit in the collondar and get another 1/4 to 1/2 gallon Mess OG was 1.054, there was over 6 gallons of wort left so evaporation rate is suspect. FG was 1.010
