Notes

As per Pilsner Urquell in "250 Classic Clone Recipes" page 92. Changes in the bittering hops. Need to be more careful adding decotion back into mash, got to hot, then too cold with added cold water adjustment. Wanted a target mash temp of 155 but ended up with 150-151. Decocted 12 quarts of mash. Probable would of been ok, decotion cools really fast while waiting to add it to main mash, very quickly! Infusion: Target 131 water 26 qt grain 20 lbs temp 141.6 ratio 1.3 Decotion: target 155 starting water volume 26qts weight of grain 20 lbs mash starting temp 131 (or whatever you think its going to be at the end of the decoction) decoction volume 9.66 (but went with 12, I think about right.) ratio 1.3
